Helping in the Community

With Love From Jesus

With Love From Jesus is a local ministry serving individuals and families throughout the Raleigh area by providing food, clothing, household items, and other necessities at no cost. The ministry seeks to meet practical needs while sharing the love and hope of Jesus with our community. Our church has the opportunity to serve alongside this ministry by sorting and organizing donations, stocking items, and helping distribute resources to those in need. It is a hands on way to care for our neighbors and serve our community together. Learn more about With Love From Jesus, here.

Anglican Relief and Development Fund

The Anglican Relief and Development Fund (ARDF) partners with churches and local communities around the world to provide practical support and lasting solutions for those in need. Through initiatives such as clean water, healthcare, education, economic development, and disaster relief, ARDF helps communities flourish while sharing the love of Christ. Our church supports this ministry through prayer, giving, and opportunities to come alongside our Anglican brothers and sisters around the world. Operation Christmas Child

Operation Christmas Child, a ministry of Samaritan’s Purse, shares the hope of the Gospel with children around the world through gift-filled shoeboxes. Each year, our church comes together for a Shoebox Packing Party, filling boxes with toys, school supplies, and personal care items for children in need. These gifts are sent around the world as a tangible expression of God’s love and an opportunity to share the hope of Jesus. Learn more about Operation Christmas Child, here.

Kairos Prison Ministry

CHC actively reaches out to the community of incarcerated people through Kairos Prison Ministry of North Carolina. The mission of Kairos is to share the transforming love and forgiveness of Jesus Christ with incarcerated men, women, and youth, and to help them become loving and productive members of the Christian community who can impact the prison population with their testimonies of God’s power and love. Kairos volunteers are trained to go inside the prison for four-day retreats, monthly reunions, and weekly prayer groups with the residents of the prison. Learn more about Kairos Prison Ministry, here.
